Password Protect Your Neon Responders

Neon Software recommends you password protect your Neon Responders in order to provide authenticated access to LANsurveyor's information and management features. By default, there is no password configured for a newly-installed Neon Responder. Use this tutorial to remotely configure the Neon Responder password.

Step 1 of 3: Draw a Map

Use the map you created in Draw Your Network Map or create a new map that includes all your Neon Responders. Make sure you select the Neon Responder option in the TCP/IP services section of the Create New Network Map dialog box.
