Network Packet Analyzer CAPSA Versions and Editions Comparison
We provide two Packet Analyzer editions to fit the various
business and technical needs of our customers: the Professional edition and
Enterprise edition.
The Professional edition is designed for network
professionals who need to do daily network traffic monitoring and
troubleshooting, or doing network application development or
implementation.
The Enterprise edition, on top of all functions and features of the
Professional edition, provides comprehensive reporting and graphic functions and
additional adaptor interfaces. This is a great tool to monitor
network health, performing network troubleshooting, gathering date for
network planning, and communicate all network issues clearly with
non-technical people.
The latest version of Packet Analyzer CAPSA is 6.7, which provides the
following new features compared with the version 5.x:
- Expert network diagnosis module
- Expert Matrix view shows all communicating endpoints within your
network
- Conversations view now supports physical, IP, TCP and UDP
conversation.
- Application analysis modules for view and log Instant message, http, email and DNS query
traffic.
- New Protocol decoders: Finger, TFTP, Telnet, SSH,
Gopher, ICP, SCTP, VRRP,etc.
- Support more protocol analysis such as RIPv1 - v4, QQ, BitTorrent
- Enhanced project explorer - Groups Internet address by its
geographical location
- Enhanced project explorer - Displays the real time status of each
nodes
- Enhanced graphs view extensive use of GDI+ supports shading,
antialiasing and highlighting
- Exporting chart now supports PNG and EMF format
- Passively resolve IP addresses instead of automatically resolve
- Importing packets file now supports EhterPeek v7, ArioPeek v9 and
OmniPeek v9 format
- Build-in Tools: Packet Player, MAC Address Scanner and Ping Tool
- Support Windows Vista, XP, 2000 and 2003 (both 32-bit and 64-bit)
