STM-0: Synchronous Transmission Module level zero

Synchronous Transmission Module level zero (STM-0) is the SDH ITU-T fiber optic network transmission standard. It has a bit rate of 51.84 Mbit/s and is the SDH equivalent of an OC-1 (SONET).
